You're Never Doing It Alone
I'm not the kind of person who believes that there's one solution to a problem. I also don't really care what one thing is working, because I don't think it's ever one thing. Our results are a combination of the many puzzle pieces that make up our life, so when I come upon challenge I throw everything at it.
I hit overwhelm mode this morning. 'So much to do and so little time' was the story I was telling myself. There's a few sure to work solutions for me that don't include thought work, but the thought work always tips the scales into my happy place.
When I slipped into overwhelm this morning the first two things I did were to take my go-to supplements (link goes to my sales site); they settle me every time within about 15 minutes. You can insert any opinion you want here, but for me these herbal remedies shift my mind, body, and spirit.
Secondly I picked up the house: dishes, laundry, counter tops. There are lots of reasons this feels amazing, but in the last few years I've studied and practiced Feng Shui with Jen Heilman and seen the most amazing results. When I pick up now, I do so with intention- "this pick-up will help clear my mind and shift my energy", and EVERY time it does.
With steps one and two in the bank, I moved on to step three- 'The Model'. What came up for me in the state of overwhelm was this, "There's so much and here I am doing it all alone." As I was washing dishes I literally laughed out loud when it struck me that I was so far from alone.
