Choosing Hysterectomy

Choosing Hysterectomy

Choice doesn’t equal freedom. It equals power. And with our power intact we step into our freedom.

Show Notes:

  • Lots of people equals lots of opinions! Some are amazing and some are not or you.

  • I’m a hot mess but I know myself.

  • Where are the shoulds running the show?

  • I’ve “tried it all” - no really- trying it all is impossible but I have not gone without trying

  • Surgery is not my only option; it’s the option I WANT

  • When we put natural/alternative/eastern medicine on a pedestal …

  • My preference tends to be a puzzling together of what feels right, what feels good

  • The abortion voices sounded a lot like the hysterectomy voices, I give my power to what I want.

  • The beauty and power and true empowerment lies in making conscious informed decisions based on the experience that only you have access to.

  • What do I want and what are the shoulds?

  • Do I like the source/origins of my shoulds?

  • We’re not very good at honoring what we want

  • What we want is such a powerful navigator

  • Having your own back is a decision

  • Regrets are not inherently bad

  • This is what I want and what I want matters

  • Even if I regret it, if I do I regret following my own desire vs. following someone else’s desire

  • Choosing something when there are other options

  • All choices are followed with challenge and reward.

  • Every choice in your life becomes and opportunity.

  • We can grow through all kinds of challenges

  • What you will always face next is reward and challenge

If you are one of the 1 in 4 who have had at least one abortion in your lifetime,
